Originally from Westfield, NJ, Pat Glynn has performed in just about every musical situation imaginable. He's played in 49 states (sorry Utah) and 10 countries. He's played with Sam Rivers and Sigur Ros; for flying cars (Chitty-Chitty, Bang-Bang) and flying ladies (Mary Poppins), although not while flying; for Mickey (mouse that is) and Konishiki. His professional performing experience includes all styles of music but has remained tethered to jazz and Broadway for the last several years.

Since moving to Tokyo in 2007, Pat has continued performing in a variety of groups, playing with artists including Eddie Henderson, Sadao Watanabe, Keiko Lee, Tommy Campbell, and Take Six. He can be seen around Tokyo at venues like the Cotton Club, Motion Blue, and Body and Soul as well as at on of the many world-class hotels like the Park Hyatt Shinjuku and Mandarin Oriental. His new release "Who's On Bass" featuring Cyrus Chestnut and Carl Allen will be available December 5th, 2014.

Pat is also active in music education and has taught students of all ages. Currently he is Adjunct Professor of Music at Lakeland College in Tokyo where he teaches music history and music theory.
